Abstract reasoning
Abstract reasoning questions ask you to find a relationship among shapes or symbols. You might follow an object as it turns, count how many elements appear, or combine information across a grid. The task is to explain the whole pattern with a consistent rule.
Logical reasoning questions ask what follows from a set of statements. A conclusion can sound believable without being guaranteed. For these exercises, use only the information provided and choose what must be true under those rules.
Numerical reasoning is about interpreting relationships between quantities. Sometimes the arithmetic is simple and the real challenge is choosing the right operation, base value or unit. These examples focus on that decision rather than speed.
Spatial reasoning questions ask you to follow positions and orientations as a shape turns, reflects or folds. A useful approach is to track one distinctive corner or face instead of trying to move the entire figure in your head at once.
Make a prediction. Write down the rule or calculation before revealing the answer.
Review the explanation. If you chose differently, locate the exact step where your reasoning diverged.
Check the alternatives. Explain why the other options fail rather than simply remembering the correct letter.
